  Q     What is Certification Manager?
  A Citrix uses a web-based certification management tool called Certification Manager. The tool is available at http://www.citrixcertmanager.com. Certification Manager allows you to perform the following:
  • Track your progress towards certification
  • Update your contact information to receive important updates
  • View your exam and self-paced online course history
  • Publish your validated certification credentials to a third party

It is important to keep your personal information current in Certification Manager to ensure receipt of your certificate once you have attained certification.
  Q What should I do if I don’t see my eLearning/exam results in my Candidate History in Certification Manager?
  A The self-paced online course and exam completions generally take 4 business days to appear in your candidate history in Certification Manager.  If the information does not appear after that time, please send an email to training@citrix.com and attach a copy of your score report or transcript with your name, Exam ID, course or exam number, and the completion date.  In the subject field of your email, please specify “Missing exam/course completion.”
  Q I am moving. How do I update my personal information within Certification Manager?
  A To update your contact information within your Candidate Record, please access Certification Manager and click the ‘Update Personal Info’ link on the left-hand side of the screen.  Enter the appropriate changes to your record, and click the ‘Submit’ button upon completion.  You will receive a message verifying the changes to your record.  If you accept the changes, click ‘OK’, and your personal information will be updated.
  Q What does it mean if my certification status is Enrolled or Expired?
  A If you access your Candidate History in Certification Manager and notice your certification status is ‘Enrolled’, you have taken at least one exam or self-paced online course that counts towards the certification requirements for that particular track.

If you notice your certification status is ‘Expired’, either the certification track is retired, or you need to meet the updated certification requirements that have been implemented.

Once you have met all the requirements for a particular certification track, your status is updated to ‘Certified’.  If you know you have met all the updated requirements for a certification track and your status still is not updated, please email us at training@citrix.com and we will investigate the matter further.

  Q How do I get my eLearning ID to synchronize with my Candidate Record in Certification Manager?
  A Your self-paced online and Certification Manager accounts are linked automatically based upon your profile information.  As a result, your self-paced online results are credited to the correct account when they are imported into Certification Manager.

To ensure that your records are linked, make sure that your profile data from both systems match.  If you notice that your self-paced online data does not appear in your Candidate History, please send an email with your self-paced online ID (found in your self-paced online profile) and your exam ID (found on your exam score report) to training@citrix.com.  In the body of the email, indicate that the profiles need to be merged.

  Q How do I use Certification Manager to provide a prospective employer proof of my certification status?
  A After you access your record within the Certification Manager site, click the ‘Publish Certification’ link in the left hand column.  Under ‘Email you’d like to publish to,’ please enter the email address of your prospective employer.  Next, select the certifications for which you would like to provide proof of attainment. Click the checkboxes authorizing Citrix to disclose your certification status to the designated third-party, and then click ‘Submit’.
  Q Why do I have more than one ID listed in my candidate record in Certification Manager?
  A You are assigned an ID whenever one or more of the following events occur:
  • You register for an self-paced online course for the first time (Citrix-LMSID).
  • You register for an exam for the first time (exam ID).
  • A new candidate record  is created for you within Certification Manager (Candidate ID).

Each of these IDs helps ensure that your candidate record within Certification Manager is properly synced with the Exam and self-paced online systems.
  Q Can I request to receive a copy of the original certificate for a certification older than the XP version?
  A No. Citrix only issues certificates for current certification tracks.
  Q How do I ensure that my self-paced online courses and exams appear correctly in my Certification Manager account?
  A Your self-paced online, exam and Certification Manager accounts are linked automatically based upon your profile information.  As a result, your self-paced online and exam results are credited to the correct account when they are imported into Certification Manager.
